JayJ
I know you can underglaze greenware when it's bone dry and "single fire" it. How does this affect the finished piece? Is it possible? Edited January 4, 2023 by JayJ
Babs
Better imo to apply underglaze when leatherhard, then glaze when bonedry , dry and fire through to glaze maturity. Pots turn out just fine. @oldlady single fires her pots perhaps she will chip in here. Quite comon , really. I learned the orocess and came uo caling it Raw Glazing, there are other names around. Min
@JayJ, do you plan on glazing it or just using underglaze? What type of clay are you using? Welcome to the forum
