Marcia Selsor
You need a rigid knife when cutting a straight edge. You can use flexible knives for cutting holes, edges and carving, bending it to smooth a round surface, etc. Marcia

Denice
Didn't get the joke at first not awake yet. I thought no it doesn't cut well, it is for scraping and prying plaster molds. Then the joke hit me! Good knife to have a around, took me 40 years to wear my first one out. Thought I could get by without one but I kept finding myself needing it so I broke down and bought a new one. Denice
