neilestrick
I would inspect the belt. If it looks good, try tightening it. A little belt dressing may help, too.
Callie Beller Diesel
When you say "belt dressing," I get an image of a strip of leather tossed with a lovely olive oil and citrus combination. What is belt dressing?
neilestrick
It's a spray stuff they make for car engine belts that keeps them from slipping. Do not use on salad.

oldlady
sounds exactly like my 1972 pacifica acted when it needed belts. there are 4 of them and look like large O-rings. replaced them about 12 years ago. easy to get from manufacturer, i think it is now Laguna. easy to install. makes all the difference in the world.
