AndreaB
Morning everyone, Can I get some advice on how to drill a hole in a glazed pot to make it a flower pot. Without of course shattering the pot! I was asked to throw a small flower pot but I can't in the time frame given, but I thought that I could use an already glazed one for them. Thanks 😀
AndreaB
Hi again, Another question! I've glazed a pot and had to remove some glaze that went through to holes. Now I have scorch marks on the bottom. How do I cover these? I thought of painting with pva paint or painting underglaze and then spraying with a Matt varnish. Your thoughts will be much appreciated Thanks

GiselleNo5
That is a good thread!! Thanks, Mark! I have a similar problem, I forgot to clear out the two drainage holes on a flower pot before firing and they filled with glaze.
AndreaB
Many thanks Mark. Your advice is much appreciated.. I really don't think it's worth the effort in this case. The pieces is marked at $3 so really! I'll have to convince them to buy a hanging pot and they can remove the hanging part.

AndreaB
Yeah, at the current exchange rate R80 converts to $5 now. And R80 is the best I can get for this size of pot!
