@kathlind, not sure if you have a question about extruders or wish to make a post about them or looking for this subject. Just in case you're unsure of how to do this there is a quick guide to using this forum here.  What about it??  Or does this mean that your greenware just cracked? 

didn't mean to actually post something...was looking for info on the issue generally and meant to do a search,  not show up as a post.   my greenware mug started cracking quit quickly after being formed so it wasn't really cracking as it dried it was still quite soft...I am not much of a potter... i just don't recall the cracks staring so quickly before, if you can direct me to an FAQ on greenware cracking which i thought i say referred to a post that would be helpful. I will try to be more careful when searching...

@kathlind, in the Studio Operations and Making Work section on the left side of the screen  this post has links to frequently asked questions. About half way down the page there are a number of threads dealing with cracks in greenware. If you can't find an answer there post your question in the Studio Operations and Making Work Section and someone should be able to help.
