Over the top good. I bet you held your breath at times. I love it. You are so talented. I would love to shake your hand. Maybe good luck would rub off on me.
  3. After last summer I had a new appreciation for people who install drywall and apply plaster. I plastered just one wall and my arms and shoulders were on fire for a week. It was exhausting. I kept thinking, "If I was getting paid for this job I would quit!" LOL Me too, me too.
  4. Smart enough to Google, LOL. I went to the University of YouTube. Got to love that free education.
  5. Lately, I have been at a loss to decorate, anything. I have no problem throwing, just what to do next. I just look a pots and wonder.

glazenerd, you're right about looking at other artist. And I did see a post here that led me to learn about Rick Hintze. I love his work. But I am always afraid of doing work like someone else. I feel guilty. And have you been to Joseph's website. He has such a gift. I love how he has come along and made great progress in glaze and pottery style of his own. He must have some Japanese potter blood. Inspired. :)

alabama, yup, I'm going this way then that way. My noodles have been fried and MIA. But I hear you and Giselle. I do need to make notes and settle on one thing at a time. I guess it would be better to do a lot of one thing, than a whole lot of nothing. Thanks.

Soon the Rhino will be extinct, but at least we will have this to remember how amazing they were. I'm sorry, it's saddens me, because I have seen the killings. It's so horrid. And I can't hold back my emotions.

Ah, yes, this is better. Can't wait to see more. But I might just have to get a laser cutter and try it out also. Thanks for the share and inspiration.

Depending on the look your're trying to achieve, the amount of underglaze and color would increase or decrease the image. And, of course, the clay color in contrast to the underglaze. You can also fire a piece with glaze and then etch the image out of the glaze. This would probably give a glass etch look. The possibilities for this application can be many.

I think you should try a red iron wash, sponged and then clear glazed. What cone are you firing to? Or try a darker underglaze to give more contrast.

Hey, I'm vegan. LOL. This is cool.
  12. Wow, I was just thinking of buying a laser machine today. And a 3D printer for making stamps. I didn't think about this application. That's really awesome.
  13. Man, did you know that uncooked corn on the cob is so good? I love it. No salt or butter needed. Very sweet yellow organic corn. Yum.

I grow some in the garden. I boil it in water with a stick of butter and some milk. Adds to the flavor.

The long piece is two 3/4" plywood scraps nailed together with a 1" overlap. Screwed up with one 2" wood screw at center. The dry wall rest on the lip and I secure the other side with two 3/4" scrap wood pieces; a smaller piece then a longer piece with a washer in between. This lets you turn one piece 90 degrees and lash up the end of the drywall. Then you just move the drywall where you want it and screw it down or up in this case. Well, that's all. hope it help you one day, if you have to do this.
