Silicon Carbide is arriving today. Going to mix up some test batches of some reduction glazes to experiment in oxydation chemically reduced! Lots of terrible glazes to come!

Welp. First run was a fail with a little bright sides. The shino came out very shinoish, but very full of craters. I think I need to tone down the silicon carbide in that glaze to around .10g. The tenmokus came out black which is good, but where they were thick also had craterish stuff happening. In general I think .45g was to much going to make a bunch of test tiles this week and try from .05, .10, .15, .20, .25 and see what changes. It definitely was different than I was expecting. Cone 6. Oxidation. But I am trying to use Silicon Carbide to enable some chemical reduction by stealing oxygen molecules. This was the first test I ran, it was just a quick 3 test tiles. I will get into depth this week and get down to real business.
