Glazing 40+ test tile cones with different applications, brush marks, finger marks, watered down layered glazes, and RIO. Sometimes 4-5 layers! Should be interesting, or terrible.

Also, faux ash glazes might achieve some of that special effect like you want.

I use red rock it MnO specs that come through in the glazes.
