  5. Almost done hanging drywall on my studio ceiling. 8 sheet done 4 to go. And singing, "all by myself". Yup, I'll be happy to wedge a ton of clay after this.

  12. Back in the dark ages when I first started using clay, I don't recall anyone telling me to be sure to photograph finished work...see, it is ALL their fault :)

Well, glazenerd & GiselleNo5... In our family cave, we had to scratch glyphs on the wall and then invite the neighbors over. The rest of the time I cooked on a grill-asaurus. :)

  15. You know its all about that glaze, 'bout that glaze...no bubbles (earwig for today, with apologies to Meghan Trainor)

  16. Went to an online site to buy some materials for "Magic Mud", ended up splurging on a Mudtool sponge and Do All Trim Tool, and a bevel cutter...

Just so you know...The MudTool ribs fit into a birthday card nicely...voila! Perfect gift.

  19. That moment when the cone 10 glaze firing is well underway, you are cleaning up the glazing table, and suddenly there is an out-of-place container of low-fire glaze sitting in front of you...

  24. I thought Community Challenge #5 would be a cake walk because I am a tile guy. After seeing just a few posts, I am getting very very nervous. Forgot how talented the people are in here. Do judges take bribes?

I have seen your gallery images. You have NO reason to be nervous. My entry, however, may be used against me in a future commitment hearing :)~

  25. an archaeologist friend of mine is currently working on the relocation of southeastern Indian tribes based on cerarefevidence. After the collapse of the chiefdom societies the tribes dispersed in all directions leaving a trail of ceramic debris. The timeline is from 1050 to 1700 CE!
