Ginny C
Can I write names on mugs with Mayco's Designer Liner over an opaque glaze once it's dry? Do I need to put clear glaze over the lettering? Or over all? Does clear glaze over another glaze make them run? Can I put the liner on a bisqued mug and then, when it's dry, apply a transparent glaze over it? Or a celadon? Will the letters show through? Anyone know? oldlady
contact Mayco. their info must be lacking if you have this many questions about the product. you have a right to know these things, so ask.
RoGryphon
I have used the green and the blue. The colors are matt so if you want a shiny look you have to clear coat. I have hopefully attached two photos showing some things I have done. Once it dries fully putting on an overcoat does not seem to smudge. I have done a light green over it and it muted the colors but could still be seen.
GiselleNo5
I have been thinking and I seem to remember a video about it on YouTube. When I'm on the computer instead of the tablet I'll look it up for you.
