pattial
I know Chris Campbell came to my area last summer,,,would have loved to have taken her workshop but I had just moved here. Anybody leading a workshop near Toronto or in Alberta?
bciskepottery
Tony Clennell has some good one up at Pinecroft; check his site for info/updates for 2015. http://pinecroft.ca/

Mark Mark; It's already cold. Once it snowed, it stayed on the ground. Supposed to go up to 15 degrees F on the weekend. Tom.
Benzine
If I show up, it will be to deliver an injunction, that Justin Bieber and Nickelback are no longer allowed back in the US....
Callie Beller Diesel
If I show up, it will be to deliver an injunction, that Justin Bieber and Nickelback are no longer allowed back in the US.... We don't want them either!! Now if only we could offload Bryan Adams... As for events, if you're in Calgary, North Mount Pleasant Arts Centre, ACAD ceramics department, the Banff Centre and the Alberta Craft Council are the big guys for hosting events and visiting artists. I'm not sure about Edmonton, Red Deer or Medicine Hat, although they all have very active ceramics communities and are sure to have visitors. Check websites. TJR
If I show up, it will be to deliver an injunction, that Justin Bieber and Nickelback are no longer allowed back in the US.... I'll sign it. Didn't JB have to pay an $82,00.00 fine for egging his neighbour's house? That boy has too much money and too little sense. Nickleback I can't comment on. What about Leonard Cohen ,k.d. lang, or Neil Young? TJR.

TJR
pattial; You have Tucker Ceramic Supply in Oakville. I don't use Plainsmam. I use Danish White from Laguna. More expensive, but I like how it looks and feels. TJR.
Mark C.
TJR I like my snow melted under a palm tree on the sand in the tropics with fish swimming in the gin clear water No snow here yet -it did get into the uper 30's and has been raining every day now as we are up to 11 inches since September. Now for well know folks from Canada how about- Joni Mitchell I really like Alberta slip and my black glaze is mostly made from it now that I'm down to less than two bags of Albany slip. Callie Beller Diesel
Red Deer College has a good ceramics department that also has ties to Australian National University. Their annual "Series" summer workshops are well worth checking out.

Mark Mark; I often ask myself why I live here. Because it's cold outside, I get a lot of work done in the studio. When the weather is beautiful in the summer, we all go to the beach. The last one out of the city has to remember to turn out the lights. TJR.
Tyler Miller
The Gardiner Museum in Toronto holds workshops, a friend's taken some classes there. Nothing too exciting for the near future, but they do get some cool people through. http://www.gardinermuseum.on.ca/education-information/clay-classes
