I thought I was subscribed to it. I haven't heard from it in a long time and I can't find that thread. If I'm not delusional, can someone point me to that discussion. It's a propane bottle. http://fallonator.com/products/jmh_series_of_kilns Beefy elements, oxygen sensor, neat-oh! That said, I'll stick with midfire oxidation for now - plenty to work on... liambesaw Posted September 6, 2019 Report Share Posted September 6, 2019 Ive seen some Chinese electric reduction kilns that are cool, they use silicon carbide elements that look like big steel bars and then they dump charcoal inside to start reduction. Ive seen Italian potters that run waste oil down a piece of angle iron to reduce too. I think the charcoal is probably safest? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
