  1. It is posable. Just make sure that when they size the generator they know it's for 100% resistance loads. Resistance loads are hard on the power grid or in your case a generator so it will look way over sized if you do the math biased off the amps.
  2. You can not upload pictures to the site?
  3. If you post a picture of the controller I'm sure someone can look up the code for you. At around 13 hours when FTL pops up what temp are you at? Have you used a tester to check the ohm's on all the elements? I bet it is an element or a relay controlling the an element. My gut thinks FFTL = Fired To Long. I do not use electric kilns often, but I know others do
  4. My son has frothed a glaze and rolled a cup in to the froth. I'm not sure what glaze he used, I only think he played with it a few times, but I don't think he found what he was looking for. You might need a bit more power than a milk frother depending on what your looking for.
  5. I just read the manual and it says... ■ Make sure the thermocouple is pushed 1” or more into the firing chamber. ■ If the temperature is inaccurate even though the thermocouple extends into the firing chamber at least 1”, replace the thermocouple. When I taught in collage we always had issues with our with our tinny kilns with not reading the right temp. I have a medium sized kiln that only gets used to bisque some stuff. Getting a good temp and a good bisque is all about getting it packed just right.
  6. We have no issues telling people no. I had not read the emails for a long time as my son answers the phone and emails most of the time. You are right telling people no dose feel good down deep.
  7. Only the retail (end user) pays the taxes. I do see that you are in the great state of CA and I know they do some odd taxes like when you try to leave the state. https://www.cdtfa.ca.gov/taxes-and-fees/use-tax.htm I only read about half of it but with it being a .ca.gov it should give answer all your questions.
  8. It has happened to a few electrical boards and between the contacts on the back end of electrical components in my neck of the woods. Anything that is outside with an electrical board that is not 100% sealed will get the issue at some point. Thursday my brother told me his HVAC stopped working. I went to his place after work finding the 3 amp fuse blown and lots of ohm testing we decided it was something in the outdoor unit. It took me a few minutes of reading the electrical diagram to remember how the outside unit worked again. After a bunch more testing the only odd stuff we could find was the defrost board and on the back side had a spider that had shorted out 3 different traces leaving some burn marks and a broken trace. $98 for a new board, $35 for a new cap as his was testing weak, and $22 for a new contactor as his was badly pitted. Should get the parts in the mail in a few days.
  9. I will have to look into what google has to say about us. I did not think about this.
  10. There have been a lot of NO's and a few $5,000 non refundable service charges paid in advanced for that service, but people do not want to pay it. Were used some odd request, but they got bad in the last 8 months. For years I have told people "It looks like we are not the pottery for you and that we do not need your business".
  11. I own a family pottery with 2 full time, 2 part potters, and office / store staff. We have a production line of goods that we all help out with, but each potter makes what they want to fill there part of the store. We also have a private show room / conference room that is invite only and was let out of the bag in the google reviews. About 8 months ago we started getting ridiculous request. People have wanted me to make something, but let a different potter in the studio paint it. I have been asked to make something, but use a different potters stamp. I had someone telling me they were a potter, but wanted to send me all the materials to copy a pot they say they made 6 months ago. I have had a few people flip out and cuss because they can not book our conference room. Some was selling pottery classes and then giving us the email to schedule the class after they paid. The list goes on. Have other people started getting emails like this? Thanks. Lost
