Just did an initial mix of my dry Laguna glazes. I've been buying premixed all this time. I feel kind of like I'm making a cake from boxed mix after buying them at bakeries all my life.
One day I'll make one from scratch.-
When you decide to make your own glazes start out with clear and white. You can add some oxides and stains to them for different colors.

Right now just the dry mixing is giving me nightmares. LOL But you know, I've been using a lot of Laguna glazes and I'm always having problems with big hunks of perhaps calcium? And guess what I'm straining out of the ones I'm making. Tons of huge white chunks.
