got alot done this week, been making the kids some smaller cups .. dont want them to feel left out or that its only for adults...

2 handles left to attatch.. Im not very good at handles and i appreciate those who are.. My old art teacher used to say "if you put in the time on what your not as good at, it can beocme what your best at." thats what im aiming for..

Threw my biggest flower pot tonight 13.5 lbs- turned out good but i missed the heigth a little.. surprised myself on the uniform thickness throughout the pot...

'week # 2 of throwing, did better. not near as many falls due to weak bases and/or weak lower walls.. Our pulling is getting better but still a challenge for us.. we made 20 pots on saturday with decent results for being rookies, alot to learn...

Threw my biggest pot this moring, took 2 attempts .. first one fell because the base was to thin.. second turned out to be my best pot so far but i got scared ad left a little to much in the mid section...

i can center 7 to 11 method and open but i can not pull,having a hard time for some reason..

Pulling is all about the feel. You have to do it a lot to get accustomed to using the appropriate amount of pressure. I've been experimenting with larger forms lately, and I've had to get used to applying ,more pressure than normal, to get all that clay up from the foot. I'm still not there, but getting better.

Took the old kitchen table and gave it new life this morning.. last night it was round, today it is rectangle and the leaf can still be used..
