  1. After 16 years with my bailey wheel, I replaced the potentiometer in the foot pedal. It is running and stopping just fine. The problem was that all of a sudden it would lurch when I turned on the motor. It is now fine.

      no. I called bailey, described the problem and they sent me the parts. Disassemmbled the foot pedal, cut the solder ed wire off the old potentiometer, rewired the new one and put the pedal back together. They sent a three page instruction with all the info about the pedal. easy to do.
