I am prepping for my show. Now painting in the studio. 18 panels for a piece on Immigration with image transfers of Archival photos of immigrants. Glued hangers on the backs yesterday. Grouted large pieces yesterday and sanded edges today. Love the versatility of the studio. Grouted 7 pieces including the four tile piece of the Border fence that runs through my town. Plus some more raku images of the wildlife around here. The Horses are 24" x 25". The Border Fence is 35 x 36"

They look great.

Are the birds Egrets? When I lived in Temple,Tx., about 2,000 egrets chose to nest in the back yard of a house down the street. The wildlife dept did not allow the birds to be disturbed once the 1st egg was laid. The health dept condemned the back yard. The entire neighborhood stunk of ammonia by the end of roosting/nesting. The health dept then cut down all the trees in the poor guy's back yard before he could move back into his house.,.........beautiful birds........one or two at a time or on your tiles.

They are Ibis with the long curved beaks. The flying ones are great white herons. We do get some egrets, but not in huge numbers. Those in my back yard include the above plus Grey herons, green herons, Yellow crowned Night herons, 3 types of kingfishers, cormorants and anhingas, musgovees, mallards, and many other water fowl. Then the songbirds are another huge list.
