I don't think 'real' potters should feel threatened by all these technological advances, any more than by cheap mass-produced imports. So, if they already threaten your livelihood ... then do be scared! I can imagine episodes of the Antiques Roadshow (UK) in the future, where the 'experts' are trying to decide if a piece of ceramics is genuine or fake!
