justin1287
I'm going to start working with cone 6 porcelain.....my friends are great artists, and I dont have the time to learn another craft at the second. Can anyone recommend me a company that will print out my friends designs? I would like to do the decal, then put a clear glaze over it. Is this how it works? Thanks....Justin
oldlady
what country are you living in? your post might get answers if you remove the word "cheap" from it. what you are describing sounds like a typical china production company ( think of your mom's dishes) operation. maybe you could contact one of them. Mark C.
The decals I have been around and it was years ago -you applied over a fired glaze then fired to cone 017 if I recall. I do not recall cheap in any ceramic process unless you mean pit firing. You can print your own decals with the right stuff-Google may be of help on this-there have been a few articles in the ceramic rags on this. AtomicAxe
Just make your own. There are tons of ways, easiest being a litho process.
