eoteceramics
Hi, Can any one tell me which oxide will give me a dark blue colour, I need this to pick out texture in a piece. Thanks, Julia
High Bridge Pottery
Cobalt Carbonate/Oxide gives you blue, or purchase stains that are blue. Test on something before your good stuff.
Marcia Selsor
Cobalt is very strong. Be careful to get it only where you want it. Marcia
neilestrick
Start with 1/4 of 1% cobalt carbonate, and test it increasing by 1/4 of 1% increments up to 1%. If it's too bright try adding red iron oxide starting at 1% and increasing in 1% increments up to 5%
