MisterBremer
I'm brand new here! I'll be teaching intro ceramics at the high school level this year and I believe in a technology component to each class that I teach. I'm hoping to have students follow different artist blogs throughout the year to report back on/review/etc.... Does anyone have some good blogs to follow? They could be general clay info, or specific artist blogs, like this blog by my ceramics teacher from University of Wisconsin, Bruce Howdel. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Not that I could recommend any one blog over another, but you may find the following link of interest. I think this is a good idea, and should generate some good discussion. http://thedailyreviewer.com/top/pottery
GEP
We had a thread about this a while back: http://ceramicartsdaily.org/community/topic/171-studio-bloggers-roll-call/ Within this thread the following wiki is recommended, which is a good place to start: http://wikiclay.com/wiki/clayceramics-blogs Mea

There is a mixture of things on the blog, but mainly it is about the whole lifestyle around surviving as a ceramic artist. Aubrey
so0n i'm going to start my personal blog...! I get lost in each piece that I make. When I’m throwing a piece nothing is more important than the gesture of the form. When I’m decorating the form, the mark of the brush carries the weight of the world. While the world fades away, I think about someone using the piece over time and continuously discovering different nuanced aspects of the form and surface. klen11
A great way to find these blogs is to just do a Google search for "Ceramic Blogs". I made a search and came up with limitless amounts of blogs on artists and their techniques. It's a great way to learn and educate yourself. Plus, the ideas you can find are limitless! neilestrick
If I may toot my own horn, http://neilestrickgallery.blogspot.com/. I don't post a lot, but I try to give some good technical information, especially when I run into something interesting while out repairing kilns, or when issues pop up here in my studio.
