Jan Shaw Posted March 8, 2023 Report Share Posted March 8, 2023 I'm having trouble with the result of firing cone 05 underglazes and the matt over glaze. It's not as intense and rich as I hoped. I've fired it twice. Is there a limit to multiple application and firings? I applied a thin coat of matt glaze and I want to reapply underglazes. Any suggestions? Could ventrification be a problem? A matt glaze, being opaque in comparison with a clear gloss will tend to deaden the colours. What products are you using?
