AmyDugdale
I bought a new ceramic mug that was hand made with a green glaze, I put coffee in it and didn't clean it until the end of they day... The bottom of the mug has lost its colour... Is it still safe to use?
Min
I wouldn't use it. I would send a picture of it to the potter or store you bought it from and let them know, this shouldn't happen. Whether or not it's going to harm you would depend on what the glaze is made from. Green colour is probably copper leaching out of the glaze. Pres, Rae Reich and Callie Beller Diesel
PeterH
Could you share the picture with us?
Morgan
def do not use that anymore and contact the potter. it is pretty irresponsible imo to use liner glazes that leech that bad...and after only one use it sounds, very suspect. And as min notes it depends on what is in it but still should not be happening. my .
