Sheryl Leigh
Is there any good resources for teaching basic wheel maintenance? I am someone who runs a studio and as far as I have gotten is changing the speed via the Brent foot pedals. I have mostly Brents of all types, although I have two Pacificas and one Clay Boss (and a Lockerbie, completely manual!). There just doesn't seem to much out there, save Youtube videos.... and I'm not looking forward to describing different noises to the techs .... Any information is greatly appreciated! ~Sheryl
Mark C.
Just keep the belts tight and motors dry not much maintence to a brent wheel-they are made to last Lockerbie may need oil in bearings top and bottom once a few decades Pacificas well they may need belts or other stuff as they break and they are always asking about them here and the same with a clay boss.-do a search from m ain page on these brands . Are you having issues with any of these now?
neilestrick
Most wheels need little to no preventative maintenance. Check the belt every few years. If it's working then you're good to go.
