Elav
Do terra cotta flower pots need to be sealed or glazed on the inside to make a candle out of it? Has anyone had experience with this? I’ve read that it can be a fire hazard to not seal the inside, but plenty of sites that say you have to. ANy advice?
Sorcery
Test it. I reckon the wax will seal it eventually, but what if it goes through and sticks to a tablecloth? If someone picks it up it could get snagged out of someone's hands and start a fire ....but....so could throwing matches on the carpet! Test it! Lol, the candles not the matches! Hulk
If the clay can act as a wick, there's potential for a flame larger than you may wish. Sand candles are a bad idea (also, my opinion).
