lilbully
Hello Gang, I've recently set up my first home studio and I'm using the three bucket system for washing up. My hope was that I could leave the water out in the buckets long enough to let the clay and water separate so that I could either recycle or properly dispose of the clay waste, but I've found that the stagnant water has gone quite smelly after just a week of sitting out. Does anyone have advice for using the three bucket system at home to avoid stagnant water? Thanks so much for your time and consideration!
Callie Beller Diesel
If it gets icky, a shot of peroxide takes the funk out without adding bleach, which can be extra drying.
Min
Hydrogen peroxide in the little bottles was in short supply here for quite a few months but I was able to find "natural bleach" called Nature Clean or Oxygen Liquid Bleach, it usually doesn't say hydrogen peroxide in the name of the product but it is. A fair bit cheaper too, about $12- for a 4 liter jug.
Sorcery
It doesn't settle over night? I dump my water off in the morning. The stank is good! Sorce
