Marge
I'm following a cone 6 recipe for Candy Apple Red. It calls for Crimson Mason stain 10. I have Crimson Mason stain 6003. I've Googled it and can't seem to find the difference... Thanks a bunch!! Any words of wisdom will help. Always looking for a good reddish/raspberry cone 6 glaze to mix up! Min
Hi Marge, I think the 10 is probably referring to the quantity of Mason Crimson stain in the recipe.
oldlady
there is a deep crimson mason stain numbered 6006 if you find the other not quite red enough. my candy apple recipe does not result in enough red for me. can you post your recipe if you find that you like it?
