tbaa
This is going to sound trivial, but having wrestled with my wax resist solution jar once too often, I'd like to ask if there is some way of keeping the neck of the jar gunk free. It came in its present plastic jar. Wiping off at first didnt help too much, and i gave up trying. Now its a nuisance. Move it to a glass container? Better to use a stir stick rather than shake the jar??
MatthewV
Reed wax? I don't think you have to shake or stir it too often. Only if you see it separating.
bciskepottery
I use a small plastic margarine container and have a piece of plastic wrap I put between the container and lid to keep it air tight and prevent drying out. The container edges are sharp for removing excess wax from brushes and don't get any build up of dry wax. Only put a small amount in at a time -- maybe half of a cup. Rest stays in original container until needed.
Marcia Selsor
I use Aftoosa wax resist, and Wax off, and Wax On from the Ceramics Store. I don't have those problems. My latex resist gets diluted into smaller jars as I use it. Marcia
