Aniannika
Please help, I am about to buy a kiln but I want to check it doesn't have asbestos in it. I have never owned a kiln before, so don't have a lot of experience. Does anyone know much about this model of kiln? Kilns and furnace TLB 223 harrier. The person I am buying it from thinks it was manufactured around 1999. I would be very grateful if anyone is able to help. Thank you!!

High Bridge Pottery
I would make a good guess that by 1999 they had stopped using asbestos if they ever used it but give them a ring as Marcia says to know for sure. They are a nice company, went down to their show room a few years back and nearly bought their kiln. Only thing that put me off was their display model was not wired up so I couldn't see how well or not they did the electrics and pottery crafts sold a slightly bigger one for the same price.
