Posted January 25, 2016 Report Share Posted January 25, 2016 Its what I call, that raised section you can see in the center in photo of my bottom of plate bottom-its just above the foot level-so if the plate sags it touches the shelve at the nubbin instead of sagging onto a glazed bottom.
