  1. Karen, I saw a post where you showed the backside of a large raku wall art, with two wooden strips, into which were screwed eyes, and a wire attached.

My question: What adhesive do you use to attach the wood strips?

How heavy are your wall works? I have two pieces, each nearly 3 lbs. The backs of each are flat enough to attach wood to.

Thanks in advance, Ellen (Pattern&Chance Pottery)

.....helped in their gift shop, and sold a few things.Viewed the eclipse until the last sliver of the moon cleared the sun. Many hit the road after totality creating bumper to bumper congestion.

  4. My poor back. Cut, slam wedged 25kg of porcelain. One bag too hard, the other too soft.

If the hard bag is not completely dry, cut it in a few chunks and wrap each in a

very damp hand towel for a day or two.

  7. Long day yesterday. Shifts for firing began at 9 pm. Great crew firing the kiln. Should be a good productive way to spend a few days firing the kiln.

As someone who has to go-it-alone, I envy anyone who has a crew or community that comes together for any clay activity.

  11. Working on a design for an "Anti-Gravity" workspace mat. That way any dropped tools could be retrieved without bending over. Alternately, I could just use those things kids have to attach their gloves to their coats...

Are you familiar with the crumb catcher bibs? I need a tool catcher apron. An apron with a big pocket along the

bottom edge to catch tools and the smaller bits of the clay I drop.

I've done ebay, etsy, helped hubby with craigslist, text and email photos, but this site is a mystery. Couldn't sign back in so I opened a new account.
