Wow, I can't believe you carved that ... thought you must have pressed a real leaf into the clay. Lovely!!

I really love this carving, Judy. Beautiful.

Ahhh yes ... glaze combos. I had an unexpected one the other day. On their own, fine. Together, so thick you couldn't see any surface texture. Probably an hour of slip trailing hidden under there.

Thank you! These are really fun.

I love these!!

I sent you a private message. How on earth could I say no?

I think I like the raku slug better. I think it's because the yellow turned out more vibrant.

You are welcome to make one for your own use. When you form the cube, let it rest a bit till firm before making the design or else the sides you're not working on will "goosh".

GEP?
Otis is finished now, he's blue. I'll share photos of him in a "finished" album soon.

lol Well thanks! You should try making them. I made these for my sister, she adores guinea pigs *almost* as much as you do.

I really love this one. Just ... everything about it is wonderful.

I love it. My bunny Foxy loved bananas more than anything. She especially seemed to enjoy the skin, she would rip it off and eat it before digging into the banana.

Love the pattern!

Love, love, love the surface decoration. I wish I could pick these up and feel all the texture!

If you make this again, try putting it into a plastic lidded container to dry slowly. Helps prevent cracking. Also sometimes with slab items I sandwich them between two pieces of drywall. They dry more slowly and are less likely to warp. I've had so many things crack. It's getting better, though!
