Benzine, thanks for the update. Sad that things got out of hand. I consider this a pretty darned collegial group of folks...I have already gained more than I have contributed. I wish Norm well and hope that he can return.

Sad indeed. When you have so many knowledeable people in one place, disagreements arise, because everyone has their way of doing things and beliefs. When either thing is questioned, people tend to get defensive. As knowledable people or even "experts", we have to be able to rethink things and even admit we were wrong.

Thanks Benzine. I didn't know there was another heated discussion here, like the one when OffCenter left. It's really sad that all those knowledgeable workmates leave or must leave because of their temperament. It is to be hoped that they'll return one of these days and that nobody is resentful when they do.
