jrgpots
I will be making non-funtional candy canes to decorate ceramic gingerbread church.....no dinnerware. I have white porcelin 5 and stain CT1807 red. How much stain do I add to the clay for a strong red color? Since it has Cd, I will be using a respirator and gloves. neilestrick
The specs say 10-15% for a glaze, so more than that for coloring clay. It would probably be cheaper and easier to just paint white candy canes with a red underglaze. You'll probably get stronger color that way, too. Cavy Fire Studios
Maybe try red slip with a red glaze over it! That'll be screamin' red!
