Isculpt
I have seen several glues recommended here, but always for gluing a broken handle on, or something that doesn't involve a sealed, glazed surface. I'd like to glue some crushed gemstone onto a glazed surface. Is there a glue that will attach something to a glazed surface? Jayne

perkolator
i like PC brand -- PC-7 and PC-11 are my go-to paste epoxies. very similar to JB Weld. they also make syringe-style epoxies that have great specs on paper, but i have no personal experience with those since they don't stock them on the shelf where i buy my regular PC-
Isculpt
Thanks, both of you. I was afraid I'd be told that NOTHING would adhere glazed surface to glazed surface. I'm surprised and happy to hear otherwise! Jayne
Mark C.
E 6000 also bonds glass to glass -its clear-wear as JB wield is black or if yoiu cut the top surface off its grey. Mark
bciskepottery
I use E 6000 silicone sealer to affix ikebana frogs to vases (stainless steel to glazed surface); it is clear and really holds well.
Isculpt
Thanks for the E6000 suggestion. Clear would definitely work better for this purpose. Is it available at hardware stores or is it a specialty item?

Stephen
E600 though does not last indefinitely so either get a small tube or make enough to pretty much use it up. Not sure how long is too long but we went to put wine glass tops onto some stems and used the rest of a tube that was maybe a year old and it wouldn't set properly, just stayed gooey and had to scrape off.
