have you ever seen a pot with large feldspar chunks wedged into the clay?

i love that look, but am curious where you get the large chunks. and do you throw with them in the clay, or just smack them in the pot after you finish throwing? does anyone know?

Here are pics of one my bottles from my most recent anagama firing. The detail pic shows crushed feldspar melting out. The feldspar was wedged into the clay. A bit rough on the hands but worth it.

Wow Off center! Great pieces and beautiful surface.

I just asked for a free sample of feldspar grit. I want to put some in a few pieces for the precenference wood firing I am attending. I live in an area where wood is picked up every mont..or else we'd be in a jungle so there is potential here.
