oldlady
envy you the cardew experience. when i went to england in 03 or so, i stayed with seth cardew at their home and saw all the wonderful pots upstairs in the studio. i was one of those people who thought all the really great potters who were alive then would somehow still be around when i finally had the money to go see them. what an idiot. Mark C.
Glad to see Tom fessing up that he was one of the lucky few to apprentice with Cardew. Our very own (TJR) Tom Roberts is mentioned in the Cardew list in the most recent Studio Potter if any of you subscribe. He is also in one of the older 90's studio potter Cardew stories . He is a humble human and says little about this experience but my bet is he can pull some sweet handles and knows his way around ball mills.
