Chilly Posted February 5, 2015 Report Share Posted February 5, 2015 Thought I'd start a new thread to show the stages of making my own "Tower" poppies. I'm so pleased with the way they turned out. I will be making a donation to the Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes charities. This is stage 1: Stage 2: And here are my two finished poppies together with an actual "from the Tower" poppy. I had no idea how big (small) the real ones were, I looked at the videos of them being made and guessed. I have another two (smaller, but not as small) in bisque waiting for more glaze/underglaze to be purchased. The one on the left has two coats of red underglaze and three coats of red glaze.
