Jea
I have a very old creative industries wheel on an orange table with an orange foot pedal with ci written on it. The pedal only goes fast. It has an on/off toggle switch on the side of the pedal that I can operate with my foot. I tried opening it up, but can't figure out how. Is this foot pedal openable, and can it be adjusted so the pedal will adjust the speed? The wheel works fine, just too fast for most throwing and trimming. Thanks for your input! neilestrick
@Jea Post a pic of the pedal.
JohnnyK
If it similar to mine, the foot pedal can be taken apart by removing the pin that holds the top part of the assembly as shown in the photo below. That will give you access to the guts of the pedal. Your problem is probably with the way the white lever is acting with the gear on the potentiometer. Before you try to take it apart, MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG THE WHEEL! These pix are of the guts of my pedal before I cleaned it up and got it working right. Jea
Thank you so much for your reply. Here are some photos. I tried to remove the top of the foot pedal, I was able to push the pin out about an inch, and then there is something inside that prevents it from coming out all the way. Also, the on off switch is located on the foot pedal rather than on the wheel table. So far I have not figured out the way to get the foot pedal open.
