Joliefolie
It's that time of year again so I am looking to make some Christmas decorations. I would like to colour both sides of flat pieces . Could someone please tell me if amaco velvet underglazes in particular the black colour stick to the kiln shelf when fired at cone 8. Callie Beller Diesel
Hi and welcome! It might not stick to the kiln shelf, but there’s a possibility it may flash at cone 8. Could be worth testing one on a cookie just to hedge bets. Rae Reich

neilestrick
Chances are it will stick at cone 8. At cone 6 most all the underglazes we've used in my studio will stick to the kiln wash at least enough to look bad.
