How to use kiln sitter Olympic Electric Kiln?

Recommended Posts

Hi, someone just gave me a Kiln Sitter Model K-10, its an Olympic Electric Kiln model 1827. I am a bit confused on how to run it. I have used a manual kiln in the past( a Duncan model) but im having trouble with is one. I noticed when I put it together, each section was attached by connecting outlets.
the bottom to sections are missing the knobs with the “off” and numbers im assuming to be the hours. But when we turn it to the left it looks like it turns on. The light will not turn on either but im assuming its an easy fix.

Has anyone worked this type of kiln and how do I go about running this?
