cambriapottery
My sodium silicate has gelled in its container. Is it possible to restore it to a useful state as a liquid?
Jeff Longtin
Yes, I've done that before. I just added a small amount of water. If there appears to be solids I've screened those out as well.
cambriapottery
It is one big mass of jello. I will do as you suggest and try a little on the side. Does the water need to be hot or just tap temperature. Thanks for your suggestion
Min
I've never had success when mine went to a solid mass. Going forward try and keep as much air out of the container as possible, go to a smaller container once the level starts going down and flip it upside down.
