Adorbubble
I got a kiln for free, and have absolutely no idea what it is. No manual came with it and I cannot find anything about the model online. It says “Inferno africana bisque colors, inc.” Model A23 240 Volts. No serial number. It has a kiln sitter model LT-3K. It needs new bricks and heating coils and definitely needs rewired as the power cord looks like it’s been chewed by rats. I just can’t find anything about it online. Can anyone help me identify this kiln?

neilestrick
IMO it's not worth fixing. It needs a floor slab, a lot of wall bricks, new elements, power cord, jumper cords, wiring, etc. Way too much to put into a kiln that old. Save your money for something that's in much better condition.

I wouldn't even use it for that. There are so many big chunks missing that it's not going to insulate very well.
