Mike W
I have replaced everything in the foot pedal. It's as though there is a disengage and an immediate reengage as the wheel operates. It is slight but noticeable and throw off everything. Any Ideas? . Mike W
neilestrick
Which controller does it have? Post a pic if you can, and a video of the wheel running would be helpful, too. If it's the black controller with the flat buttons, it's most likely a controller issue and it will have to be replaced. Mike W
Mark C.
Check out tthe top of page a few threads down on Brent fix it issues videos -I also think it's the controller board issue.
neilestrick
@Mike W sent me this video of the wheel issue. I've temporarily posted it to my Youtube page. Once we diagnose it I'm going to take it down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkwQot5GqwE Photo of the controller:
neilestrick
@Mike W It looks like a controller issue to me. However just to be sure, check the brushes on your motor.
Mark C.
I think its a controller board issue and I would call them before buy to make sure you get the right board they look like this https://www.amaco.com/products/control-d-30-110v-cxc-hi-speed?ref=2&taxon_id=353 and are easy to replace. The uneven speed is the key and the board is failing slowly. check the motor brushes 1st as Neil said to make sure as thats a cheaper fix-never seen brushes fix a speed issue but there is always a 1st
