jordan mcd
I'm looking at buying Dyna Kiln H8800 and want to hook it up to a 240V service. Has anyone worked on these? Attached is the specs I'll contact L&L Directly, but thought I'd ask here as well. Thank you
Mark C.
Should be fine What is the difference between 220 volts and 240 volts? In North America, the terms 220V, 230V, and 240V all refer to the same system voltage level. However, 208V refers to a different system voltage level. ... With electrical loads, the voltage will drop, hence the common reference to voltages below 120 and 240, such as 110, 115, 220, and 230.F Of couse you need a 50 amp wire(#6) and breaker to be at 20-25% over for safety

neilestrick
Talk to L&L and see if you'll be able to get replacement parts. With some of these really old ones you can no longer get bricks and some electrical system parts.
