I want high resolution full color photographs, not decoupage or single color, not water slide decals or underglaze transfer. Actual photo quality print, I know it's possible since my wife has coffee mugs with all kinds of stuff printed on them, but the all come from china or malaysia or something... I haven't found a place in the US I can ship my pottery to have then print on. Is there a way? Maybe some local printing company? I would not mind if I had to label it as hand-wash only, do not microwave, but I would really like it to be food safe so people could use it as a serving tray. I would really like to have some mugs as well. What kind of printer are they using to make these tourist mugs/plates with pictures on them? Maybe contact them and ask if they can refer you to someone who has one of their printers who can do this.
