If you are using premade slip you coukld mix it with some new slip in a blender or with a power mixer.We used to do this all the time with our 30 gallon mix-just todd them into mixer and blend for a spell -best when it was just trimmed and still wet. If you try to make casting slip only from trimmings it will be........ something that I can't remember. There is an ingredient that leaches out of the slip into the plaster mould. It's the reason that moulds are not infinitely re-usuable. they are being eaten by the ingredient that I can't remember. Anyway, yes is the answer.
