cindyluc
Something is going on with my wheel. At first, there was a scraping sound so I looked upside down, took off the guard and could not see anything obstructing it. Flipped it over and tried again but this time when I put any pressure on the wheel head, the wheel would stop. The bands were going but the wheel slowed down to a halt. Do you have any idea what could be going on?
Mark C.
Loose belts?? just a wild guess- flip itso it is on back pointing up with the guard off-that way you can see whats going on-turn on pedal and see whats slipping-maybe adjust tension on belys by a motor adhjustment? I have never seen a bailey wheel but most wheels are similar .
neilestrick
If the motor continues to run but the wheel head stops, then it's either loose belts or a loose set screw on one of the pulleys. There's the big pulley under the wheel head, and the small pulley on the motor shaft.
