Denice Posted July 22, 2017 Report Share Posted July 22, 2017 Sorry I have never used Laguna Brown B-3, but I have worked with Flinthills Brown, it is suppose to be similar to Laguna's brown. It was a really coarse clay, the only way I could maybe burnish it is to make a slip out of the clay. You could do a test and see if that would work. I burnished black clay though (Spanish clay) using semiprecious stones, teaspoons and plastic wrapped over a finger. For oils: babyoil is the best, then linseed oil (tepid!).
