glazenerd. I see what you're saying. After reading your post I did see some things that have inspired me to try different makings on my pottery. I was inspired by Marcia's animal Raku pots. I love the color, but I'm not yet set up for Raku. I forgot how much I loved Raku when I was in College. Thanks, nature is great.

GiselleNo5, I have lot's of notebooks, I just don't use em, lol. I know I should. I just get lazy. I live in South Texas. It's mostly brush country here, but I can find some things that might inspire me. One of my problems is getting too much clutter in my head and I can seen to focus. I think mind brain has been fried by the high heat here. Looking forward to fall. Thank you.

Too many ideas can be just as bad as not enough ideas! Finding focus can be hard for me. Just remember the experimental stage can be really fun. Try something; even if it doesn't succeed it may give you a more refined direction. I can't work in the heat either, by the way. I just feel miserable.
